maintanance1The building manager is responsible for the supervision of all maintenance and repairs and must ensure all contractors comply with onsite H&S requirements. For a large building or buildings, this often means deploying a full-time maintenance staff. Maintenance/ Contractor staff are responsible for repairing any systems that affect building operation, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems throughout the common areas. Occasionally, the building manager will be the liaison person between the maintenance staff and tenants.
